As above. as my budget concerns, i will not go for refractormeter.

so only 2 choices, swing-arm type or floating ? which 1 gives more accuracy ? and any preferred brannds ? like azoo ? sera ? ai.m ?

The swing arm ones are quite alright... but u need to know how to use it properly... do ask the LFS for demo when you purchased it. As for the floating (glass) hydrometer... they are quite ok too... u ust make sure your water is stagnant enough for it to function well.

hehe hammy how long u'v been using it?

i heard that one problem of swing arm is it will get less accurate as time goes. as the arm can be easily clogged and cant get the accurate readings...

If you want real accuracy, you can try getting a refractometer

i am not sure leh. but i can confirm it with my refractometer for u to see the accuracy.
