What should be the size of a refugium in order for it to be effective.

I have limited space, my main tank is 4x2x2, what is the minimum size the refugium should be.?

IMO, get the biggest sump ur cabinet can accomodate lor.

no such thing as minimum size lah, just a compartment of the sump to act as a FUGE unit for ur macro algae. how big should the FUGE depend on ur preference.

really depend on u as diferent people have different sump design to accomodate different equipment.

I think it's pretty subjective. Normally, the bigger the better but still subject to how the setup was done in order to make it effective regardless of the size!
