substrate confusion

Recommended Posts

Howdee Guys,

I am currently using fine coral sand as my substrate. I noticed that lotsa reef hobbyist choose coral chips instead, is it ok if i continue with the current sand?

or should i change to the chips?

I have not added anything to the tank(accept my live rocks) , and wanna confirm all this before i do so.

Cheers :D

Well you have to take note that sea cukes might not accept coral chips

So you can't utilise them to clean your sandbed if you use coral chips

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

To me, you will be unique in all the world.

To you, I shall be unique in all the world...

You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.
