Spitting of brown stuff and bleaching

I seem to notice my hammer and frog spawn spitting out brown stuff... I know it's an algae they are spitting out but they don't seem stress and are still big after spitting them out...

They are not bleaching are they?

And if hammers and frog spawns bleach, which part goes first?? The tentacles or the base?

Hmm , it might be the spilting of some of slime , this might be affect bleaching at once , but maybe over time.

The tentacles will start closing, rotting and smell, den u know its gone.If bleaching, it is significant on the tentacles.

Is it normal for healthy hammers and frog spawns to be droopy or is it a bad sign?

When the lights are on, the little beauties are up and springy but if the lights are off they become droopy again..

the brown stuff that is expelled is zooxanthellae.. its a sign of bleaching. Zooxanthellae makes food for corals through photosynthesis.

Whats your water parameters and temperature like?

My Nitrate is zero, PO4 is zero (But there's still white stuff growing ) KH is at 7 and calcium is super high! Temp is between 25.4 to 26.5 (Profantic fan works!)

But the corals are doing fine now... maybe it's a ritual or something...
