help needed on sump

can someone help me with the design of sump..? my tank is a 3x2x2.5, current sump is a 3 partition one, but spoilt... now going to customize one... should i go for a 4 partition or remains 3 partition. anyone with measurement for a 2.5 to 3 feet sump?

what do you intend to put in the sump? Skimmer? Refregium(might spell wrongly)?

As long as u got space to put ur skimmer in the middle theres no need to spend more money modding ur sump tank. The skimmer must be good enuf(usually buy oversize wont go wrong). Then u might want to get an FR dispensor thats loaded with Rhowaphos to absorb water nutrients to control algae growth. Denitrifier not necessary if u change water often.

what is the ideal measurement of the portion of the skimmer.. i am customerizing.... idont want to keep upgrading.. my tank will be 3x2x2.5.
