SRC Member beaver Posted July 16, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2006 Hi Reefers, I just bought the above today...I know I know, I should have understand its requirements b4 getting it...but temptation got the better of me It has blotches of black on a cream coloured body and is about 4 inches long. I understand from the lady at the LFS that it feeds on brine shrimp but I guess it will not be enuff in the long run. Anyone has any experience with it? I will post a pix soon

Achilles Tang
It will progress to solid meats so prawns or fish meat will be next on the menu. You should upgrade to a much larger tank or prepare to have upgraded filtration systems to cope with the increased waste of predatory fish like sharks. I will post a pix soon the LFS that you went are famous in selling those non-keepable LS to anyone and everyone. just beware of this. remember reading somewhere that shark prefer a round tank as their body structure make them hard to turn. try to empty you tank so that it has more room to swim... best yet, sell it off. it will thank you trying feeding it some fresh prawn or fresh fish meat from wet market, hope this help.
