Algae eaters

i have a sudden infestation of algae on my live rock and i was wondering what LS eat these things? i know for a fact tangs do, but the size of my tank just doesn't permit these beauties even though i'd love one. if there aren't any, could any of you name me any additive which deals with this problem. and maybe where i could get them? thanks.

oh yes. they're the brown powery kinds. and the furry green kinds.

u could buy emeral crab from Marine Life .

I am currently housing 1 in my tank is they are working well with algea ..

you could also try lawnmower blenny. quite cute to watch them too!

Some hermit species are excellent grazers.

Snails.

Abalones.

Lettuce nudibranchs.

Some species of sea urchins.

Not all hermits are good. Avoid the blue-legged ones. Get as tiny ones as possible. Just provide enough empty shells of increasing sizes lying so they don't kill each other for a new home when they grow bigger.

I kept 3 lawnmover blenny so far but none of them seem to eat algae leh... saw them gazing but algae still there...these cute felles cheat me!

but of course is better that they prefer pawn meat than to die of hunger.

Rabbitfish are venomous..be careful when ur hands r near their spines.
