what UPS to use ?

Size: 4x2.5x2 ft - Display 

Equipment :

Return 1 : Ecotech marine L1

Return 2 : Ecotech marine M1

CR : Skimz CM122 - Caribsea extra course media with Grotech magnesium

Light : ATI 8x54W

Else http://www.ablerex.com.sg/ . They were advertising at last year's PC show.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Forget abt Sim lim... If you wana get good deal, try weekend strait times classified for used UPS, at least half price. Or u may try yahoo auction.

Also, for less technical incline. juz get a small UPS juz to support the return pump. Connect notting else if u want the UPS to last long hours.

Thing about batteries is the battery life decreases. Second hand may not be a good deal. Just liek some company's UPS for server can't even last 5mins.. usually after few yrs, its time to change.

The link I provided is, i think, is local company.. price very competitive. Compared to APC its really cheap.

Yeah.. Usually you will want to hook it up with only your return pump..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Nope... hooking a chiller to the UPS will be insane... really... just focus on a return pump or something low wattage as suggested by bro Arcanehacker

Just checked out the pricing on Ablerex UPS.  Basic Ablerex 500 model going for $61 and more advanced 625L model going for $99.  Both are meant for home users.  Can get from Cybermind at funan.

See.. its cheap isn't it. .. I think its good to got for the 1000 or 1500 series.. probably $100 - $200. :D
