Ok. . finally hook up the entire system minus the lightings.

Gerald is kind enuff to help me install two energy saving light bulbs in the cabinet. . plus fix up all the pipings. . including the beckett skimmer.

For his service, i give two thumbs up.

hey mate, no problem at all. . i will give a detail explaination and show some pics tonight.

My sump is 4 feet by 22 inch by 22 inch which is fairly big, therefore i have a lot of space to play around with. I am gonna utilise both beckett and schuran for this tank and fortunately they can all squeeze in the sump.

It's interesting to see 2 very different skimmers running at the same time... to let us know which one produces more skimmate... if I am not wrong, in such scenario... normally the less efficient one will not produce much of a skimmate

Just got my de-nitrator and CR... will be installing this week...

i cant afford a denitrator yet, so relying on the DSB. . haha. .

So far the beckett is up, the schuran will be up in couple of weeks. Yes it will be interesting and a pretty fair comparison since no one ( i think so ) have ever tried running a tank with both beckett and schuran.

Maybe one day i can even place a deltec side by side with a beckett or schuran and give a review of the performance. Since its the same system with same bio load, i believe the results sld be fair.
