anyway i am bias toward deltec lah simply beause i am a deltec user.

bubbles size can be quite difficult to capture since it is so minute and rapid , unless a super duper good camera is involved. but the quantity of the bubbles is already irresistable.

bro, like what bro hammy mention, my camera is unable to capture a clear picture of the bubble size. Think you have to come my place and give a verdict yourself.

The Deltec might not have kick in completely. Let's wait another couple of weeks for the experiment.

Btw: Any Deltec users can comment if Aquabee 2000 is too strong as a feeding pump for Deltec 851?

Upgrading is not sianz... but very expensive. . every skimmer lugi a few hundred. . so far i tried mazzei, beckett, venturi, fleecewheel and needlewheel.

Brands wld be weipro, macro, Reef maniacs beckett, Schuran jetskim 150, Bio Ocean's mazzei, Ati Bubble master fleecewheel, Deltec needlewheel.

I always believe that everyone's opinion differs and the best is to judge the skimmer yourself instead of relying on all those product reviews. Although the product reviews does hold some truth, but nowadays its just plain advertisement.

Ur skimmer has not really kicked in as you can see the bubbles on the neck, if the tuning is correct, only micro bubbles can be seen.

aquabee 2000 or aquabee 2000i for the feed pump is fine. my good buddy used ehiem 1250. not too bad either

I was told that for Deltec 851, i sld leave the air valve completely open and tune the gate valve only. So far it has been only 2 days, how long did it take for ur Deltec to kick in?

hahaha... you don't have to wait for couple of week for the skimmer to kick in may be tmr or day after next, deltec will kick in very soon don't have to do any adjustment

I am very concern about wattage, so i chose the Aquabee 2000 which is only 11 or 13 watt.

The deltec is a good investment. Its always good to get all the pumps and equipments, so that ur sump can be customised to suit/fit all these equipments. Wise choice bro.
