Will the shovel nose eat small fishes?

From what i understand, the shovel nose usually feeds on invetebrates such as crabs, clams etc. Not sure if they will attack an injured fish not. . . .

As for now, the shovel nose is still juvenile and very harmless towards the other inhabitants.

juz went to T95 yesterdae there was a shoval nose shark there as well around 1 1/2 feet.. didnt ask for the price though. but it was pretty active.. looks really tame too.. there was 3 bamboo sharks as well...

bro, my shovel nose is a juvenile. about 1 feet long.

i used to keep bamboo shark, its not a very attractive fish cuz it hardly swim or move. . .

i wld recommend the blue-spotted stingray though.

Shovel nose sld be prized at about $120 and above.

Haha bro... I don't like aggressive fishes and I don't like Triggers If I am to keep Black Tip... I will keep a couple (in a very large tank of course) and no other fishes... as they can be very distracting

Expected lah... they've been replacing it many many times for the past 10 to 15 years... probably some environmental group protested and they have to stop replacing the Black Tips this time

I was at indochine last month, still see about 8-10 black tip sharks swimming ard.

As for wisma, there's no more black tip. Maybe their system cant support? Write to them ask them to use bubble king 650 external!

yea bamboo sharks come in small sizes.

ah beng has both the eggs and s,m,l sizes of the sharks.

i actually prefer stingray. . . the shovel nose is quite interesting. every week just buy $2 of market prawns to feed him.

Btw u need to train ur sharks to feed on market prawn, which sldnt be too difficult.

From books and websites, it seems that stingrays have diffculty feeding on market prawn and need to be trained. However, from my experience its not tt tough.
