SRC Member Reefzzz Posted August 30, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted August 30, 2006 Is the TLF C-Bal, 2 Part Ionic similar in function to the AragaMilk? Which one is recommended? Moderators thomas_lim Posted August 30, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 30, 2006 I would say AragaMilk has more of the balance between the 2. The TLF C-Bal is more towards maintaining the Calcium level while the AragaMilk will maintain both Calcium + Mag as well. And the good thing abt AragaMilk is that there is only 1 bottom to dose and it will not be as harmful as C-Bal in case of accidental overdose. This is just my own observation after trying out both. Moderators thomas_lim Posted September 1, 2006 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2006 Thanks Thomas lim… U had just solved my dilemma. I will go for AragaMilk …. cheers No worries bro. Just ensure you dose it right in front of a pump so that it will be scattered all around the tank to maximize the effect. I have have used it for a few years now and have no adverse effect on my old and new tank(4 months old). In fact, if you need more coraline algae, will recommend you Purple-Up. This is a sister product of AragaMilk which I noticed have a higher Mag level which boast the coraline algae growth. Try using both on alternate dosing. Just a suggestion.
