Square anthias

Hi all,

Need help to ident whether if tis 2 anthias is a male n female square anthias???

Have search e internet at http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di...y.cfm?pCatId=90 ,but e male doesnt look like tis..Onli e body got a square looks e same fm e internet pic...

Anyone can advise???tks...

2nd pic is a male

first not sure about but it female of some kind anthies

1st pic cfm is a female sq anthias....as it looks exactly e same as show in e internet website...

So 2nd pic is a cfm male sq anthias isit???tks

Anyway until now i dun see them fighting with ea other.....But neither do i c them swimming tog or hiding in e same spot at night leh..sigh.. :(

Yes. First pic is a confirm female Square Anthias(Also known as yellow anthias for some).

The 2nd pic is a male Square.

As anthias in different locations tend to develop a slight differences. So there is a tendency that the pics in the particular website will look different from the fish u bought.

You can try this website. www.marinecenter.com . I find their pics are generally closest to what we get from the local LFS. Not promoting their website here. But the website do provide some useful info on each fish.
