water have electricity

Pls advice, i on one of my filter pump and found that my water got electricity. Is the pump faulty or ???

got to be careful there xfusion !!!!my suggestion u off all the electricity and check on them one by one.don't want to hear it on the news about a fellow hobbist got injured or any worst.BE VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL

Hi Ikan, already confirmed is tat pump which give out the electricity, meanin tat pump spoilt? Lucky tat i've just started to cycle the water as i'm very new to this hobby.

you need a ground probe for sure. It's more of a prevention for shock but importantly, you have to isolate and get rid of the faulty device.

out of curiosity, what brand pump is that?

It is an old pump, brand not sure, last time use for fresh water filter system. Anyway getting new pump already n thanks for all the advices.

Better get it out and buy a new one or it will happen like the person's tank kn fire
