help me id this prawn!!!

Looks like it's related Saron marmoratus but lacks the typical hairy shell.

Most prawns do. It's called the rostrum.

so its the marble shrimp?

is it reef safe?

like can i keep it with peaceful fish and shrimp community?

dont want another incident with my hermit crab...

any1 noes where can get those shells for hermit to upgrade their homes?

oh. does any1 noes where got sell very small anemones like 10 cent to 20 cent coins..

heard tt anemone hermit can attach anemone to the back of its shell... with a kinda glue(saliva) it produce..

it currently has 3 brown small anemone on its back.. like to add a more colourful one..

hmmm which genus is pest anemones?

or u mean the anemone hermit?

well i was just trying things out.

frm the profile of the anemone hermit, i read it is a detrivore and eat some algae, (though i noe its aggressive) ,but i wanna try things out .so i introduce it to my tank..

but after the fatal incident... now its happily cleaning up my refuge....

by the way, does any1 noes wat prawn is tt?

CF has a lot..spoke to John about it ....the one spider put up the link....it is the male.(i think) anyway...this one is not reef safe...I wanted to by it..but was advice not even to put it in a mushroom and zoo tank...it is a scavenger....will eat corals..

more for FOWLR w/o triggers, wrasse and shrimp eating predators :lol:
