I would suggest that u remove the skrimps as they're sensitive to high NO3 which might occur during the cycling period

2ft cube with 2.5 sump

400w MH with 6 x 24w blue T5

Hydor wavemaker controller

Aquatronica controller

Daikin compressor with double coil

How stable is the rock work? Looks quite precarious.

Look around at pictures of other reefers' tanks for inspiration. A slope or shelf is preferable as it provides a stable platform to place the corals closer towards the light and it looks more natural.

Rack

n.

A framework or stand in or on which to hold, hang, or display various articles: a trophy rack; a rack for baseball bats in the dugout; a drying rack for laundry.

Usually made of PVC pipes, eggcrate or acrylic to support the rocks from behind. Benefits are less LR required, increased water volume, increased stability and better circulation.

Hmm...impressive...Tanzy always seems to have answers to all questions...from A to Z...think I'm more interested in your library of books than your tank. With this knowledge...you can build more than a tank...:yeah:

Thanks to Mod n brothers for your advises......

I will try to restack the rocks again......maybe i should start from the center-back part of the tank, than exact center, than sides, than upward.....

see if i can do a not-so-steep kind of scaping.than easier to stack live corals.....

Looks like its going to be at least anothe 1/2 day's job........
