HELP...... :(

My mandarin's fins got torn. Everyday, it got worse & worse. It's a male so it got this long dorsel fin. That was reduced to nothing. So ultimately, I need to find out why.

So one fine day, I just sits there & watch. Saw the bloody culprit was the 6 line wrasse. Read so many books saying 6 line is reef safe.

Made a fish trap(mineral bottle with top inverted). Caught the sucker.

Now it's in my sump.

I also noticed my mandarin looks tired. Maybe it's all the ordeal it's going thru.

With the culprit gone, the fins are healing back fast.

Any fishes bigger than a Mandarin will tend to take a peck it its tail fin and top fin especially when the Mandarin is introduced into the tank last. After awhile the big fishes will leave it alone and the Mandarin learn to hide among rocks to siam (avoid). But sometimes some big fishes will continue to harrass it. Maybe they took a bite and found it tasty shiok.
