[HELP]Sandbed got black/grey patches

Hi,

Realise some part of my 1" sandbed turing grey/black. Is theis good or bad? Should I change the sand? Also realise some worms growing in the sandbed, not sure if it's good or bad. Hope someone here can enlighten me.
