blueheaven
If your tank is not long, go for 2x250w instead Your tank size really does matter Quote But if you tame me, we shall need each other. blueheaven
I'd go for 3x250w It will give you enough coverage and intensity even for non-SPS corals you might have at the bottom of the tank Quote But if you tame me, we shall need each other. blueheaven
Well, that's hard to say cause I know reefers with 3ft deep tanks using 400w And you can go with your 4x150w first to see whether your SPS can survive on it. Do take note that lighting IMO is of the last priority when talking about keeping SPS successful Quote But if you tame me, we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. SRC Member Tanzy Posted July 6, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted July 6, 2006 Sorry to borrow your thread. How abt 400W for 3ft cube tank? Is it an overkill? Start your own thread next time since you know it is hijacking. 400W is far from overkill in a 3ft for SPS provided you have sufficient cooling and money to pay for the utilities bill.
