what creature can clean the sand bed ?

1) Sea Cuke and 2-spot goby are some nice choices for cleaning seabed.

2) I didn't know Frog Spawn will shit.

3) So the red algae is growing on your rocks or growing on your sandbed? or do you mean the red algae from your rocks spreaded onto your sandbed? pardon my poor english.

2 spot goby if i'm not mistaken is pretty hard to keep

if you're not using dsb u can consider sand shifter

btw, if your algae bloom is caused by high no3, u can forget about the star fishes, most likely they wun survive the high no3.

sand bed got algae growing from the LR, meaning to say, on the sand bed got LR, and the LR got algae growing. so sandbed got algae, cos algae anyhow grow. so should anyhow get some ground fishes to get them to clean up the bottom of the tank. like sand dollars and yellow watchman. yellow watchman is a damn efficient cleaner. my sand bed sparkling clean everyday.

oh, ya should take some photos of the frogspawn shit. might be real interesting read and photos. never seen one before.

try reducing your phosphates bro, and the cyano growth should abate. manual siphoning out of the sand is also good. if youd like a critter to consume, i think its hard to find a cyano specific consumer, but you can try sea cucumbers as other bros have mentioned. i dont think a two spot or other such sand sifting goby will help much as they rely more on zooplanktonic and bacteriophagal foods, and dont survive well in captive systems.

personally, i use a small sand dollar, and it works wonders.

for cyanos, henry reccomended sea hares

mine didnt have much chance to feast on cyanos when it died the second day after being stuck onto the seio water inlet

ascertain that its cyano first before getting creatures that eat cyano.

scarlee u mistook the algae as cyano when it is sth else.

many ways to solve the problem, to kill it at the source, control your nutrient content

this includes:

1)getting a better skimmer

2)running po4 media and carbon

3)reduce feeding and frequent water change if u r unable to provide for number 1/2

other methods of solving the problem that doesn't include solving the root of the problem

1)getting some fish to disturb the sand. this prevents giving the algae a stagnant surface to grow on (but it only works on sand, your rocks will still have the same problem )

2) increase circulation in your tank (this IMO is better than 1, corals will appreciate more flow, and u dun introduce new life stock (fish, sea hare sea cucumber that adds to your nutirient problem)

btw, test your water and give us the results. no3 and po4.
