You mean sprinkler system to recreate rain? Emm... maybe for mangroves... other than that... dun see much use... maybe can add some lightning too :)

i'm using one. check out my tank thread. Creates good flow for my 2 ft tank. of course I have other wavemakers inside as well.

The rain bar comes up straight from my return pipe. But it must be submerged or you'll get lots of spray from the surface.

rainbar creates a wider flow as compared to just a tube out. But it got to be submerged as it will create lots of spray.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

yeah, something similar... from eheim as well... actually, i bought the in-flow and out-flow upgrade sets (of eheim)... now i'm wondering if the out-flow would be better off without the rainbar... :)
