deep sand bed refugium needs lighting?

by refugium I take it u meant to include chaeto for example, which will definitely need lights in dis case. it doesn't have to be an expensive light.

i m oso setting up a refugium n is planning to use one of thsoe phillips energy saving light... shdnt be too heavy on the electrical bill especially if its set on reverse timing to the main tank's lights

think i wil invest on a better skimmer instead..... maybe with more biohome.

i think a normal florescent light will do ? i juz got my cheato from a reefer ... he says that will be sufficient...
