hi bro yaoza what kind of lights are you using?i think the light might be to strong for your sunnies.cheers

I'm using F24T5/15000K (3 Tubes). I guess I have to relocate my sun coral, to have indirect lighting. Thanks anyways. :D

nice job keeping it neat. so much better than my previous 2feet

but something i am going to warn you, watch out for ur bioload and nitrate before it kills ur corals away

No worries, I consistently do a 10-15 % water change every week, and I'm using red sea skimmer and eheim professional II canister filter to compensate the waste. :thanks:

can I know where you bought the red sea skimmer?

and what media you using for ur canister filter?

cos I am going to have another setup similiar to yours.......but me planning to use 150W MH light but afraid that it's too bright.

Bought it frm aqua marine, my filter media has active carbon with nitrate reducer, sponge and live substRate, hope that help. :lol:

Bro you can always elevate the MH to get it further away from the water surface... and to get a better light coverage... do note that it is not recommended to go MH if you do not intend to add a chiller into your system.

i have a chiller, so I think MH should be ok, but is the blue light a must in marine tank? was thinking of going MH alone. Was told that blue light is on first to get the corals "warming up" to the instense light of MH, is it true?

bro! why don't you paste oyama sheet background? I think it'll be nicer and it'll cover up some ugly pipe work & equipments..!
