Anti-phospate medium

hey,

i was wondering if there is any medium i can add to a tank to help remove the phospate in my tank. I dun have a FR have a sump. So was wondering if there are medium like carbon to remove phospate?

Yes there are a few brands... your can try Rowaphos (market leader) or Aquapharm SORB-4 (cheaper alternative)

Depending on how big is ur tank and what's your stock level... the best is to have dedicated FR to run the medium inside for maximum performance. If not, placing the stocking bag inside ur sump (or canister) is also acceptable. Just make sure there are sufficient water flowing thru the bag... if not, it defeats the purpose of having it in there.

i put in the sump, whereby put infront of the pump that going back to main tank. Confirm all water must passby before going back to main tank. But find that need to change every 2 week or else alage start back slowly on 3rd week

Yes, Rowaphos you can get it from Harlequin. Clementi Blk 328. One plastic bottle 1L cost around $80 (if I'm not wrong).

Yeah it's the price that usually scare reefers away... but in terms of reliability... they are the best in the market
