Thanks Max.

I intent to keep some little fishes that my kids like, once out grown put them in my 2ft tank. Not much of a theme to think of any.

Will keep updating. ;)

Since there are 2 overflows in this 12GO nano cube, I decided to block the bottom overflow so that the water will be forced to overflow to the surface skimmer on the top left.

Simply use an acrylic piece to place at the bottom to block the overflow. The pressure will stick it in place.

Once the bottom overflow is blocked, the water level in the main tank will increase, and the back 3rd and 4th chamber will decrease. So watch out for evaporation to ensure that the water level is not lower than the return pump.

Before blocking the bottom overflow;

After blocking the bottom overflow;

You may notice that the water is rushing into the surface skimmer, and the main tank water is much clearer on top. This will increase the efficiency of the surface skimmer.

Learnt my lesson, leave fish till the last until the coral settle down. They are easy to put in difficult to take out. :D

but once u have the desired fish u want, u will not feel like taking out le =)
