Long nose Hawkfish

i dun think so,i have alot of corals n fishes in my tank,had this hawk fish n a flame hawk too,both peaceful creatures,n beautiful too!btw i have 5 shrimps...others,i dunno,so mayb more advice frm lao jiao here better?cheers!

I read in e net saying caution for reef leh n it may attack samll fish n prawn...so abit worie..havnt release it into e tank yet....

not sure about long nose but heard that flame hawk are reefsafe as in do not attack corals.

With caution would probably mean attack smaller shrimps. Not sure how small though. Did consider flame hawk but afraid it will attack my sexys ;) .

I guess long nose would fall in the same category.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Definitely no problem with corals, hard or soft...

As for shrimps, just make sure your shrimp cant fit into its mouth..

I haev kept hong nose hwak with cleaner, boxer and fire shrimps.. No problem.

My long nose onli maka mysis n bine shrimp leh..

Marble, how was your long nose hawk fish now? Did you clearner shrimps when missing.? I just read your msg.

I had 2 of such. They of cos feed on mysis and shrimps. But as day goes by, i notice my cleaner shrimps are always hiding below the rocks. a week past and all my clearner shrimps and fire shrimps are gone,

I have 4 big and 2 small clearner shrimps. 6 fireshrimps all went up heaven.
