No experiences with those but I heard Eheim noise can be pretty obvious.

But i believe its about how and where you place it. If you cen get them in a closed cabinate, should be better. Also pad the bottom so that it buffers the vibration therefore less noise.

I have 2 Rio32 pumps outside of my sump. Slight noise only.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?
