Dymax T5 light set

Can someone help me whether the original 3ft T5 lightset , original tube can it be change to HO T5 tubes?Any modify needed? Thanks

Dymax T5 got 2 kind. You gotta know yourself whether its HO or NO.

maybe a price on your lightset. Should be able to judge from the price.

You need to change the tubes and ballast to HO. Since HO ballast is bulkier than NO so have to place it on top of the light set casing or in your cabinet. If not using cabinet you a wooden board and place the ballast there.

may i know how much the tubes and ballast for HO cost? cuz i have a NO t5 too, I dunno if i should modifiy it or buy a brand new HO t5 set. Which is better and cheaper

tubes depending on brand cost differently,

AquaZ $12.50 per tube regardless of length , type

Aqualight , also 10 ++

Aquamedic , ATI , D&D i thing these are the higher range more costly ones

T5 HO ballast aint cheap , Tridonic Atco is ard 42bucks
