Water clarity

Hi,

Just wanted to ask, how 'clear' is a clear water? I notice that the water in my tank is a bit yellowish (when the lights are out).

I'm using tap water mixed with red sea salt.

thanks,

zurc

clear water is crystal clear water...

to improve your water quality you can use activated carbon.

can buy those cheaper types like $3 for 500g but must change very frequently, once a week. to prevent it from leaching excess phosphate back into your tank

but better types would be boyd's chemipure or rowa carbon. But more expensive ofcourse. personally i am using chemipure.

I think for a starter... activated carbon and protein skimmer will help improve your water clarity :)
