Hi there!

Can i suggest u catch it out and place it in a holding tank first, then take a clearer picture of it. it will allow us to better identify which species this slug / nudibranch is, and advise whether this is reef-safe or not.

Also, let us know where is creature is found on e.g. liverocks or coral or sponge, it might be feeding off something on where it is resting on.

Do practice caution when catching this type of fellow. duun use ur hand, in case it stings, use a gentle, non-sharp object and slowly pry it off (dun force it!)

Hi....

Much appreciate your suggestions.

The first I time i saw it, it was on the sand bed.

The second time i saw it, it was crawling on my LR.

Having it captured and placed into a holding tank is a good idea.

Any experience or pointers on how to handle it? I read that if you

aggrevate some of this creatures, they can release toxins that can

kill off the fishes &/or corals in the tank.

The other tricky thing is also that it only comes out when all the lights

are off ..... a pure nocturnal fellow. I only saw it when i turned on the

lights late in the night. Is there other ways to get it out during daylight

as it is easier to catch.

Thanks again for any input..... ;)

I don't think they'll be attracted to pellets. If its only one, nuke it with kalk paste and do a water change after that ;)

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

To me, you will be unique in all the world.

Most sea slugs are not suited for captivity as their diet is largely unknown although a few are known to be herbivores... yours does not look like that kind.

Suggest you remove it before it goes after your corals.
