if ya new... read up on the type of coral u wanna buy. dont buy it cos it's pretty.

try to get the cheaper n not so colorful ones 1st.

I think fanworm and star polyp also quite ok.

The important thing in keeping corals is to make

sure your lighting is sufficient.

mushies is the best imo...they super tough corals!!!!

yuma is more to do with luck,some r tough other juz melt away easily...

rics seems to be quite tough too but they r really ex!!!!

zoos r gd too,comes in many colours but need to give them a freshwater dip b4 intro to the tank to get rid of nudibranchs!!!

star polyps is simply cheap n gd!!

i dun think there's really such a thing call easy hard coral..get yr water parameter right n they will do fine!!!

the price range is quite big...from a few $ to maybe $40plus(i'm not sure maybe even more!!!)depends on the colours of the mushies...

Common Mushrooms - from $5 onwards

Star Polyp - depends on size

Zoo - It alls depends on how big, common or rare they are,

so its difficult to tell you a price. I suggest you go LFS-ing and

check out what are your preferences first.

Like what Bro godzillaliu88 said, since you are new, start cheaply first.

Get those common type or small size.

for star polyps i think for a palm size shouldn't go beyond $20(i'm talking abt the more colourful one!!!)

Go for sun corals also... cheap - ($5 from Chinatown; $10 usually).

Sun corals are pretty, does not require lightings, just provide a moderate flow of current.
