Terry.

150W MH for a 2' will raise the temperature and cause so muct evaporation that the salinity and temperature fluctuation will be unhealthy for the livestock.

depend on what are u keeping

for soft coral it should be enough

for hard coral tink 250watts is just sufficient

BTW a least chillier is a mus have for MH

unless your room 24hrs air-conditioned then maybe use fan to cool down water surface!(risky for corals)(if FOWLR can try at your own RISK!)

3fter probably u need 2 bulb unless u put every thing in the center!

alot depends before u start looking at a chiller.

location of your tank is very important.

I got one fren who place in his 2" tank in living room

n get 30c+, with 2 fan running.

I run 2 X 150watt MH, with 2 fan running I get abt

28-29c. My 3" is living room, but near the window.

Not 4getting the nos of pumps inside the main whuch could lead to temperature increase

2ft cube with 2.5 sump

400w MH with 6 x 24w blue T5

Hydor wavemaker controller

Aquatronica controller

Daikin compressor with double coil

RM CR

H&S out sump skimmer
