Different Brands of Testkit 4 Diff WaterParameter

Can advise?

I understand some testkit will be better than other for:

1. More accurate reading

2. Easy to use

3, Reading easlier to read & etc

Anyone care to list down the type of test kit that is better for different type of reading of water parameters

i read b4 salifert nitrate test is the most arrcurate among all the rest of the brands..but it seems to be out of stock everywhere

I uses salifert only. Kh, PO4, NO3, Ca and Mg.

pH : Seachem MultiTest Marine pH & Alkalinity

(Easy to use, Fast result, Easy reading, should be BEST as per ML Henry)

NH3 : Tropic Marin NH3/NH4

(OK for all)

N02 : Salifert Profit Test

(OK for all)

N03 : Salifert Profit Test

Ca : Tropic Marin Ca or Tropic Marin Mg/Ca 2 in 1

(Tropic Marin Ca seem easy compare to the 2 in 1 cos quite blur.

Mg : I only using Tropic Marin Mg/Ca 2 in 1

(Seem very diffcult cos we using the same test solution after Ca to continue with Mg. Not sure whether very accurate cos I reading cannot be find. I have to calcute base on the ratio of the result chart they indicated on instruction)

How about Marine Lab (ph, KH, NH3/NH4, N02 & N03)

All seem ok. OnlyKH result have not indication of reading cos the chart is range from low to medium to high only

Any better recommendations

Whatever it is... it's good to have a back up set in case the reading is questionable... also, we should start investing in Pinpoints/digital test kits as they can be more accurate (if maintained properly)... sometimes, I don't trust my eyes... especially in the late hours
