:unsure: unsure to use sulfur denitrator

I plan to USE Sulfer DENITRATOR

but I want know about It more than ...... :paiseh:

My question

1 sulfur media is The normal sulfur ( S8 )

2 how many media volume or size of reactor be suitable with my tank ( 50gal.)

3 ...... another suggest about sulfur denitrator

last question *** sulfur denitrator it Work to Prevent NO3 & algae problem ? :nc:

in the aquarium , special bateria reduce nitrate to nitrogen gas in a oxygen free environment by oxidising sulphur . as a result , sulphuric acid is produce . the outflow should be feed to area of high pH such as calcium reactor to netralise the acid.

1) the normal sulphur bead are employ in the sulphur denitrator .

2)not sure though

3) heard from reefer that nitrite might temporary rise during initial usage.

NO3 is only one of the component to contribute to algae growth . other parameter that should be check is ur phosphate level as both of these is fertilizer to algae growth.
