low PH...

I would like to know why before i install my CR the PH is about 8.1 then after i install my CR the value drop to 7.5. What should i do to bring to 8.1 again.. i tried adding ph buffer.. but no help.. i also did 20% water change... needed help... thanks..

reduce the bubble count for the cr. too much co2 into the cr will produce low ph

it is common to have ph 7.8-8.1 when your run CR and it is ok.

if you want to raise your ph a little, try to raise your kh... when you kh up, your ph will up too.

ph buffer actually raise up your kh too.

Hrmz, abit out of topic, but any good brands of kh tester to recommand? Im having a hard time with the salifert ones... Thanks~
