What to put in FR

Hi Gurus,

I earlier bought a RM FR and intend to run rowaphos. Need advise on how much rowaphos to buy to put in. Also, other than rowaphos, is there anything else that I should add into FR?

In my opinion, Rowaphos is the best product... although a little more expensive. I am using Aqua Medic Antiphos + AM Carbolit.

depend on the initial pollution of your tank . there are recommendation on the rowaphos bottle

i would reccommend 2 little fishes phos remover or aquamedic antiphos, of course rowa phos is still the best.

Carbolit is Aqua Medic version of activated carbon. Not too costly but according to AM, the pellets will not dissolve and pollute the water. Instead, it can remain in the sump/FR/filter for a long long time coz they will eventually become bacteria housing... but for me, I will still remove once they need replacement.
