ID of White Fish with vertical orange band?

Hi,

Can someone tell me the name of a totally white fish (can grow to a fairly big size) with a distinct vertical orange band on the front part of the head?

It has a parrot-like beak too.

Sorry, I do not have picture to show but am interested to keep one.

See it before previously in LFS.

Just don't know whether reef safe or not.

Erm, if we are referring to the same fish, no...i do not think its reef safe, asked a few LFS before.

Erm, i tried searching live aquaria but didn't manage to find it. Maybe some other reefers can advice?

Yeah, i think hes referring to this one. Is it called a bi-colour parrotfish? Was told its not reef-safe.

its in my tank for months....

Quite coral safe... But in the wild parrotfish will chew on hard coral to trim their teeth...

Will eat inverts if i am not wrong...
