Replacing Dymax ballast to support HO T5

Hello fellow reefers..

Picking up this hobby again... Currently setting up a 1.5 ft length tank...

Dimension is as follows: 50cm(L)X50cm(B)X70cm(H)

Due to its odd length... seems like a DYmax T5 lighting can suits my needs (due to its adjustable bracket)..

However... As I prefer HO T5 instead of normal T5...is it possible to change its default ballast to another so it can support HO T5 tubes? or fellow reefer have any better suggestions on lightings?

Since you are changing the ballast, means the light tube and the old ballast you won't be using right? Then sure can 1 mah, the question is just that whether the new ballast can fit into the casing or not. But bear in mind that you have to change the ballast before using HO tubes, someone tried before using the NO ballast with Ho tube, and the whole thing just caught fire.
