yellow tang not eating... wat can i do?

hi all

my yellow tang is not eating for 2 weeks already.. becoming anorexic now.. i m so worried.. wat can i do to get it to eat.. it has been in my tank for about 3 mth already.. no sign or disease or sickness .. just stay around the bottom of the tank.. it is not even interested in any type of food at all.. I have tried pellets, flakes, mystid shrimps (frozen) and brine shrimp(frozen) but to no avail

can anyone pls help

u never seen a tang eating mysis shrimp before? its not helahty for their colour but if its starving it would probably eat it. and they should most definitely down pellets. i fed all my tangs pellets

he used to be eating.. only recently tat he went on a food strike.. dunno wat is the reason

Try getting a piece of new live rock for him to peck.Hope this help.

Try chinese lettuce. Easily found in the market. Works for my blue & yellow tangs.

it could be due to internal parasites that cause the "food strike". critical - pls get medication for your YT soon.

have you checked your water parameters?

yellow tangs are IMO the hariest tangs around...

if it doen't eat, something is wrong....

but not necessarily with the fish.

mayb is smt wrong with your water?????

check everything.. then try feeding with nori???
