something is spawning these.. :o

every now and then I see a small jelly floating.. then they disappear ( probably filtered out)

don't use sea water, doesn't match the times I buy new fishes..

so where they come from??

This is something new.. we need pics..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

confirm its a type of hydriod...at one stage of their life cycle, the r rooted to substrate..after some time, the stem breaks and they'll swim around like tiny jelly fishes...about 1-2 mm big only....its a very common thing in old tanks...i think almost every1 has it at one time or another.

Talking about it.. I seem to have them more at some stage.. I realised it few months back.. usually at stages I just see 2 or 3 at a time.. few days back I see about 7-8 of them swimming..

It doesn't do anything bad. and fishes ignore them.. most of the time the fishes will just gobble them and next second spit them out... alive. :P.

Pretty amusing to have them around too :).

sounds cool leh. but wat will they grow into ?

Nothing. And they seem to stay around that small little size. Swimming around then somedays I don't even see any. I saw some cling on rocks and just do that jellyfish pumping action.. :P .. pretty amusing if you ask me.
