Oh yeah... and start all over again? I think it's good to show some "before" pix so that the readers there can be inspired by your setup... and do mention the name "Atlantis" coz I'm sure a lot of Atlantis tanks out there needed major revamping and you shall be their successful case study :)

Sorry for the blur tank pix... will try to find another pix later in the morning (going to attend wedding dinner).

p/s: Stay tune so that you can compare the transition of my tank from Dec 2003 to Jun 2006 :paiseh:

M&M's Tank Phase 1 (1 month old - Dec 2003): Super duper Low Tech. Tank (or even No Tech. Tank)

Confirmed pix taken during house warming. I even brought more corals on the very morning to display in the tank <_<

Hahaha your Atlantis tank is purely a low tech tank... now that can be a guideline to future categorization of tank setup :lol::lol:

Set-up before mid Apr 2006:

The "No"

1) No Chiller (now also)

2) No Skimmer

3) No T5

4) No Test Kits

5) No Additives

6) No Anti Phosphate

7) No Wave Maker

The "Cheap" :paiseh:

1) Cheap Carbon use forever

2) Coral Chip

3) Coarse Sandbed

4) 4in1 Mini aquarium fan

5) Use a piece 10X20cm thin filter wool

6) Pump Head

7) PL light

The method  :

1) Change water if you want max of 10% every 3 months

2) Top up tap water only when water below the black guide line

3) No need to add saltmix

I think I can considered my tank have got through at least 3 major crash

1st - Jun 2004 (8 days tour to china)

2nd - Mar 2005 (HDB redo my flooring) :erm:

3rd - Dec 2005 (Power Pumphead triped the whole house) :(

4th - Feb 2006 (Missing fish in right side of the chamber, found fish bone in Apr 2006)
