Will the usage of biobacter cause an increase in NO3?

Biobacter is to kickstart yr bacteria colony in yr filter media - be it filter media in canister or even yr life rocks.

once the bacteria is present the nitrogen cycle will start and the end product ot the cycle is nitrate. only then yr nitrate will keep on increasing provided there are nutrients to feed the bacteria. hope its clear. just my 0.2 cts worth..

Will it defeat the purpose if I use the AZNO3 to control the NO3?

Bro I think you are looking for denitrifying bacteria it will slightly reduce your N03

I hv a biobacter which till date, don't dare 2 use cos hvn't get a denitrator. Shd I go ahead to use it or wait till I hve a denitrator?

Bro what do you want to achive by putting the bacteria starter. The more live rock you have the more bacteria you can keep.

My tank NO3 is kind of high and I'm not sure whether using the biobacter will increase the denitrifying bacteria which will help to control the NO3 in my tank!

Bro do 20% water change for the next 3 days it will help alot then can try fritz zyme #9 denitrifying bacteria from c328 quite good product
