How to remove flat worms

would like to know how to remove flat worms...

my friend found some flat worms on his mush rock... is it ok to do FW dip??

Hrmz, i've never done FW dips on corals before so don't know if the dip will stress the mushrooms out. Some wrasses do eat flatworms..... Anyway, if your friend is worried that a FW dip will harm the mushroom, just use a pair of tongs to pick out the worms when he sees them.

Haha, ah well, unless its a super HUGE piece of rock, i don't think theres too many of them in there. Just pick them out when your friends sees them.

Do a search on this forum on flatworm and you can see that they multiply rapidly.

You can try the chemical way by dosing salifert FWE.

FW can be removed thru fresh water dip too.

I added a 6-line wrasse into mine and my wife's old tanks and the FW disappeared gradually. I have not seen it eating FW, just that I noticed the correlation.
