free anemone

hi i have a long tentacle anemone for adoption

size is around slightly smaller than half a feet across

really hope some kind souls can adopt it ASAP as i dont have the proper tank to keep it now. ( my tank crashed )

the anemone is in a very bad shape now..

so i dont think ill be giving it away anymore.. as it may disintergrate anytime and may be a threat to your tank..

what happened

...

i had a missing copperband in my tank..

then the day after one of my 3 anemones started to shrink badly..

i couldnt find the reason for its stress as it was living happily the day before

then..the on the next day when i got home..

the anemone disintergrated badly (machiam egg white) *pukes*

i decided to decomission the tank..

took all the remaining livestocks out and gave it to other reefers

took out all the liverocks...and then!..discovered that the corpse of the copperband was under the rock where the anemone reside!!!!

guess the nitrate that is emitted from the corpse cause the anemone to dye..

now it just recently taking the life of one of my paired clownfish...

trying my best to save it now.. =(

the anemone is going to be dead soon...the clownfish didnt accept it anymore..

Sounds like you r in for a real bad disaster... but hey, don't give up. Don't decom your tank
