Ya, I reuse it. But I have to cut it into half else too big for cynarina. Got this idea from one LFS, good idea tot, maybe some might think a bit cruel, but... it is better than just flush it away thru toilet bowl rite....

maybe someone wanna to share how they "dispose" their up to lorry fishes???

maybe the airstone is worn out and not as effective as before.

thus the increase of DOC within the system increase the amount of algae ??

My basic equip:-

1) 2ft tank (die die must have)

2) Canister filter

3) Air driven Sander Skimmer

4) 4 HO T5

5) Seio 620 (On to blow away the "dust" once a week only)

6) Timer to control the lighting and fan

7) Fan

I think that's all for the equip part

(leopard wrase, 2 BE, Spotted Hawk, Frog fish, 1 more wrase MIA for 2 days.. )

1 Turbo snail and 1 sea cucumber.

I mainly collect Blastos, Zoox, shroom, clam, bubbles, hammer, octo. Trying out SPS but only the green one and monti survive I think my basic equip only can go this far ....

all skimmer work the same one lah.

all are trying to achieve max. nos. of minute bubbles.

but one bad thing about airstone is when u turn the air pump too high, the collection tend to overflow and airstone need to change regularly to max. efficiency which will increase cost.

why not a tunze 9002 or my skimmer biostar flotor ...

paiseh, paiseh, (typo) not frog fish lar, it is Mandarin. I must be crazy if put frog fish inside my tank.

I maybe do that, if I have damsel (esp the devil damsel) inside and I cant catch them
