Hi guys,

Been using the 150-F2001 (in sump) skimmer and it has proven its mettle in skimming my tank of 4x2x2 with 3x1.5x1.5 sump.

Understood that the 850l skimmer both internal and external version now having a special price maybe for the upcoming Great Singapore sale hehehehe...

150-F2001 - S$750

A150-F2001 - S$850

Tempted to get the outsump version, but then again might go for the P16

Cheers

Just went to the h&s site to see what is P16....

Its for 5000 litre tank!!! .... Big cannon sia... Any idea wads the wattage and damage for the P16?

Any significant difference in performance when if change from 150-F2001 to a A150-F2001? Thinking of upgrading too man with the spare 600 bucks from PAP.

Also considering getting a Deltec from Rdepot. Hopefully got some big discount during the opening of the showroom.

150-F2001 to A150-F2001 increases controllability as the needlewheel pump for the external version re-circulates the water, hence "greater" cleansing. Due to the need to have a feed pump, it relaxes (as compared to the internal version having to intake the water) the need to draw water.

Not saying the external version is better, it does have greater control. For me i am happy with the internal one hehehhe...(although my hands itch for it).

The external model is the new one with the reinforced banding that holdfast to the pump (just like the bigger eheim model).
