My fake SPS... if the fingers are to grow any longer... from 1" (last 3 weeks) to 2.5" now... it might be Finger Leather Coral :lol::lol::lol: It is looking extremely happy being placed next to my Stream 6100... :heh:

What Anthias are these? Dispar? 3 for $10?

Lightings: T5 HO - Hopar 3* 39w + ATI 2* 54w

Skimmer: Skimz Bullet Beckett

Chiller: Resun CL-650 (28 - 29 °C)

Wavemakers: 2* Seio M620 + 1* Hydor K2 (7100 litre / hr)

Fluidized Reactor: Skimz FR (currently empty)

Pumps: 1x Rio 32HF (Skimmer), 1x Rio 20HF (Return & Chiller)

Filtration: more than 80kg LRs, chaeto

Water Circulation: ~ 4000 litre / hr

Future Plans: additional wavemaker, DIY algae scrubber, DIY overflow box

Actually I most interested in things like batt life, how it operates, what kind of food you can put in, and maybe some pics of it in operation. Want to get Anthias too but due to work cannot be there at seperate timings to feed mah. See details of someone else using can help me make a decision better.

Unfortunately not yet... I will buy some Live Brine Shrimp this weekend to entice them a bit... here's another pix taken under my new light fixture... in case I don't see them anymore :cry::cry::cry: Come to think of it... I was extremely bold yesterday to have the courage to net 10 Dispar Anthias!!!

colour of fishes appears more vibrant, is it the real colour or just your photo shot skill?

It's a mixture of a few factors:

1) My water is always crystal clear (thanks to Reef-fresh System)

2) My glass is German black glass, not green so distortion of colour is minimized

3) Lighting plays a part and getting better and better

4) Camera also not too bad

5) Yes, photo editing skills (I am a designer) :lol:

6) I usually take 3 to 5 shots of the same subject... then select the best one

Hi Lyz, I think they should do fine... a lot of bros keep them under T5 with success... however I will still keep a close eye on them for the coming days... luckily they've been on the sand bed for more than a week now, so the transition is actually not too shocking to them (I hope)... I can always move them upwards if they seem unhappy :)

Bro yeah the Xenia looks happy and the nice thing is, they co-exist quite well with my Leather Coral as they are extremely close to each other... yeah I also hope my DA will eat soon... my fav fish? No lah... didn't buy lah... still considering... no harlequin shrimps... the star lost 2 of its arms 3 weeks ago... but can see they are growing back now :heh:
