your mg level at 1250ppm is good enough :)

another way is to check your mg level in your saltmix. and then dose your mg additive into your saltmix to the level that is same with your tank water before you do your water change. this way, you don't have to dose big amount of mg additive into your tank after you did your water change.

glad that you found out the source of your low mg :)
