supermarket seaweed also can(non flavoured ones)

Two little fishes also have seaweed for tangs

erm... the topic is where (to get) and wat type of seaweed to feed tangs....

yep, i feed my BT Seaweed flakes by Two Little Fishes too.

remember to soak the flakes using another little container, with some water from ur tank. make sure the flakes are soak -- so the smell comes out and the flakes sinks into the water. Then pour the whole thing in slowly.

If u just sprinkle the seaweed flakes on ur tank without soaking them, the seaweed flakes will just float on ur water... and takes a long time to sink down.

Seaweed select from ocean nutrition..

I buy both the red and green algae..each pack $9 with 4 slices of big seaweed..

even my anthias and cleaner wrasse takes a bite whenever I clip it on

Bro, shootsimon, recommended me those non-salted seaweed for yong-tao-fu. They come in LARGE round pieces. So you just have to shred them into smaller pieces before feeding them to your tangs. My tangs love them.

TLF seaweed is called sea veggies isit? My Yellow Tang doesn't like it.. infact nothing in my tank likes it.. Maybe all are meat eaters and yellow tang prefers flake.

any takers? I bought 2 days back, only used abit. Infact only a small pinch.

1 big round piece...cost $2.50. brand is dunno wat fire turkey brand. lol

from china one...

doesnt seems like it contains preservative.

1 pack cost around $10 to $12 depending on where you buy it. 1 pack can last you at least 1 yr. Shared half the pack with sis cityofangels and still have not finish. So 1 pack might even last you 2 yrs

can also try japanese nori, from cold storage or NTUC. Get the one that is not seasoned. My tangs love it.

Also, the Julian Sprung 'Two Little Fishes' product is good too, but more exp. Can get it from Aqua Star, Reef n Nature and probably a few others too.
