Low PH on newly mixed water

Anybody with idea why my newly mixed sea water has PH 7.7?

not using DI.

I just use a power head to mix the salt with water.

did not aerate the water with air pump.. is this neccessary?

Tropic Marine Reef Pro.. I think it should have buffered up the water to be within the range of 8.1 - 8.3.. however, still measured at 7.7.. weird..

Yalor... can't be the case coz u using a Pro salt... what pH tester u using? What's the readings vis-a-vis your tank?

using Silifert PH test kit.. my nano tank also reads 7.7.
